To avoid any confusion, I think I should mention my distinction between the sub-headings of Projects and Portfolio. The works under Portfolio are objects (sculptures, prints, ect.) and performances I view as autonomous and singular in nature though they might form a thematic consistency. Projects consists of works that may produce objects, yet are more conceptual in process.

From 1987 to 2000, I operated a working studio as a painter under the name John Buck. I stopped painting because I no longer saw the relevancy of the media and the inclusive system that historically composed the forum of discourse and exposure.The succeeding images form a small part of the portfolio that comprised the work I did over those years.
