Temporary Contemporary, temporary tattoos, 2002

Banal images are combined with convoluted artspeak culled from reviews in contemporary art magzines to create temporary tattoos. Visitors preview a sampler of potential tattoos and pick one they identify with or enjoy. The artist then applies the tattoo to the body of the visitor where ever they choose. This is an ongoing project and changes as the sampler grows and with every performance.
