Temporal Orientation Project

                                            time-share

One new, reasonably generic wall-clock type clock is taken out of its packaging. The clock is to be set to the current “present” of the regional time zone in which the clock occupies after installing a new battery. This “present” is determined by consensus, reference, or approximation. The clock is then to be wrapped in bubblewrap and placed in a cardboard box slightly larger than its own dimensions. The time, date, and location should be marked on the exterior of the box before packing. The clock and these instructions should be shipped to another person. On delivery, the location, date, and current “present” should be marked on the box. The box should be opened and the clock reset to the regional current present. The date, time, and location should be marked on the box again when the clock is shipped to some one else. This process is to be repeated until the box is opened and the clock is dead. This “time” and the location should be marked on the box. The project is finished when the clock is placed back in the box and taped shut. Anyone may assume responsibility for this project by following these instructions.
